Me with my Nephew

This is me with my nephew, he likes having attention all the time, sometimes this boy doesn't like me and telling me that I am mean, I really don't know why he says that, it might be because there are times that he wants to play with me and i always tell him to go to his mama because I am busy and don't have time to play with him. This picture was taken at my Parents in-law's house during the Christmas holiday, Thi picture of me with mom and dad was taken after we opened our presents and the other picture below with mom was taken while we were in the kitchen preparing the food for Christmas dinner. This is the first picture of me with them because the last time I asked them if I could take a picture of them, they said they are shy and they weren't dressed for pictures. When I first celebrated my Christmas here in the USA, it felt very special because of the difference. I never hear any noise. In Pinas, children go carolling in every corner of the barrios. They are making a lot of noise, that will make us feel Irritated when its too much. The videoke is so loud and everybody will try to sing even if they are not on the right tone. lol---neigbors share foods to each other and after the nueche buena we go out singing, dancing and partying with our friends
and neighbors. But we cannot do it in the cold country, because our butts will freeze...lol. Here, where I am living...I receive a lot of giftsssss from my family and friends. I am happy of course but I remember when I was in Philippines, I can only count the gifts on my fingers . But i dont know why it felt more special when i went home before to celebrate xmas with family than opening the giiiifffffttttsss that I receive here. I really miss the Christmas in Philippines. I miss the simbang gabi, my family, friends, neighbors, the noise of the children carolling.

Every country has its own way of celebrating christmas... I am sure that other People who celebrate christmas away from their country will also miss the christmas on their homeland.

Wherever we are and whatever we will this xmas...we should always remember that the real meaning of christmas is in our hearts....We maybe away from our homeland but we can keep the good memories of christmas in our hearts. I am ready for a new beginning

I am excited that Cristmas is coming and also because i am ready for this year to be over, because this year has been so much stress on both of us. Our first movie

This picture was taken 2 and half years ago. My mom and her boyfriend decided that all of us would go to the movie, Since my husband and mom;s boyfriend likes to watch comedy we decided that we are all going to watch the Robots Animation, and this was really a funny and animated movie. It was also my first movie with hubby we really enjoyed it a lot and we really had a great time together. You know what it feels like hubby and I have been together for a very long time at that moment but it was only 5 days that we spent together. I was getting sad because the time was so quick and it was almost time for him to go back to the USA. He only had 10 days to stay with me in cebu. but all and all i have no regret and we are so very happy. because i am finally here with him.

The Sterling Couple

This is my darling husband Mr Joseph Sterling I met him through cherry blossoms and I have been married to him for two years now, from the time i met him and until now there is nothing has changed we still both love each other even though we have so many ups and downs and i am so thankful for him because even sometimes i am so grouchy he has a lot of patience for his wife ( me). I never hear any complaints from him and every time i want to fight, he will just ignore me and go to our room and pretend that he is sleeping. That sometimes it makes me more mad because i feel like he doesn't care at all. My husband really loves to watch foot ball and he can't be disturb when his watching his favorite game but sometimes I like to have his attention especially when his watching his game and that causes a fight but only me who wants to fight. I am just hoping that he will never change and wont get tired of my grouchy attitude.

1.) I steal my mom motorcycle when i was single and drive it with out license and helmet. Glad that the police who cought me was nice and did not give me a ticket. And until now my mom doesnt know about it.

Last week we recieved a coupon for a free turkey from kroger and hubby and I were supposed to get it yesterday when we went there for our grocery shopping but we forget to bring the coupon, So since there are no opps today i ask hubby if we can get it today and bring it to my parents in-law since we will going to celebrate our Thanksgiving there. I like it when its Thanksgiving coz there is another pakal and I get to see all my husband's family. I will not be able to celebrate the Thanksgiving with my sister though, because their going to Houston to her husband's brother. This will be the first Thansgiving for my sister and for my nephew, I'm sure they are going to enjoy it there, as well as I will enjoy being at my In-laws

Today i talked to my friend again who live in Las Vegas, It is been a while since i talk to her on the phone or chat, becasue she's so busy with her carrer right now, She is working in one of the biggest and famous casino in Las Vegas, She told me that she wish that we could see each other again, I meet her in st. lukes while we are having our medical exam and from day on we become really good friend. I am being forgetful

Yes i am, so manything that i have been forget to do lately, like hubby's mail, hubby b4 he went to work this morning he told me to pud the mail to the mailbox as soon as i get up so that i wont forget. But guees what i did forget about it, when hubby's home he find out that i did not mail the electric bill for out trailer. Last night i was really a bad night for me, I don't know what was wrong with me but i make my husband get irritated on me. Good morning guys…How’s your Thursday morning? Today Is a great day for me and for hubby.

Anyways today i would like to share a picture of me and my hubby during the day when we got married. When i got here in the US hubby was so eager to got married quickly, Since my visa will expire after 90 days we both decided to get married on January because i got here on December 18th,2005, So hubby ask me what date i want to get married, So i told him that i want to get married on valentines day he refuses because he wanted to get tied on me as soon as possible ahahaha. So he said what if we will get married on January. So that was it i can't do anything about it so i just said yes. Our wedding was really simple i did not wear a gown because i said that if ever i am going to wear a wedding gown i want it to the church not the civil wedding and beside i want my family to be there during on my wedding day. So hubby and I plan to get married again in the Philippines and hopping it will happen soon.

Mary, Queen of Peace

My husband, he found the new church and he ask me if I like to go and try it there. First, he go out early morning because he wants to find out what time mass will start. We didn’t know the time, because that’s our first time to visit. The priest give a good sermon (walli). The Mass it’s almost the same like the Mass at the Philippines. The church that we are always going before is Saint Jude. I get disappointed just a little. On last Sunday, the priest talking to the church because he is disappointed. The priest said that so many people have nice cars and nice things, but no one cares to give the money to the church. I was thinking maybe he don’t need to say like that.

Engament day

This is the day that i am engage to the man i love, W decided to have a simple engagement party at the beach, I am so happy because all my family and friends was there and celebrate with us on our especial day. In the picture you can see me, beside is my darling husband, my grandparents My mom boyfriend and of course my beautiful mom. There so many things to remember during this day. IT was a nice day for me but it was the most terrible day for my mom.

Potty Training

Last night I was voice chatting to my mom, it’s a lot better than typing. And you know what? Mom was very happy to see and hear her grandson‘s voice. He likes to sing a song for his mamita. He was so cute and when you hear him sing you would surely laugh too. Sometimes when he is alone you will hear him singing but you will not understand it because he is composing his own lyrics. When I listen to him, I feel so happy and proud for having him in my life.
However, there are times that he makes me mad and loose my temper. My biggest problem is he still don’t know how to use his potty chair. Every now and then I still have to assist him to use his potty chair and other times I still have to fight with him. I am not really complaining. I’m just wishing that he will learn very soon. I know he is only two years old, but I think he should learn at his age. My husband say to me that it is ok that all children learn to potty in their own time.

HALLOWEEN IS COMING

Halloween is coming it means it will be Christmas soon, So i ask hubby if we could go to the store and start shopping for our Christmas decoration, But my husband refuses to go because he has been sick, he got cold and runny nose.I hope he will feel better soon because i don't like to see him getting sick, beside for being so grouchy, he is also very noisy at night, because he cant breath good so he have to open his mouth when he sleeping and really snores loud. hahaha! I am pity my husband though because even though is not feeling good his still want to go to work because he don't to just stay in the house for nothing.

Anyway i decided to just go later to the store and buy some Christmas decoration, but i will change my mind we might not going to put any Christmas decoration in the house, well we are not going to celebrate the Christmas here anyway.

Applying for working permit

Hubby and I talk about getting me a working permit, so that i will receive my greencard sooner, But the problem is it might be useless because my husband dont really want me to work, he said that his working already so it will be good if i will just stay in the house and beside i need a lot of things before i can work. I still not learn how to drive and the save us some money to buy me a new car. Living here in the US is not really easy, you know? we cant go anywhere where we want to go because there is no jeepney and tricycles here. But we cant do anything about it. we will have to be patience. Hahay my gulay.

Want to have another haircut

Today I and my husband went to the store for our weekend grocery shopping, we usually do it during the weekend and after i ask my husband if he can drive me to the salon because i wanted to have another haircut, but hubby said no because it is not the right time for me to have another haircut because I just have it last august when my friend Rea was here. So i think it for A while then say yes, and i decided since i am going to Texas, (hopefully) Ill just ask my friend Janine to carry me to the salon where she use to have her hair done, as what she said it is cheaper and also they are all filipina working there.

grr I sm so pissed

Urggggghh! I cant sleep,Erlier i feel like im floating, i feel so dizzy and my eyes are heavy, ( murag gi dat-ugan ug usa ka bakid na bugas). So i take a hot shower and drink a glass of milk, I feel a little better now! I wanted to finish the things that i havent done but i cant get going, and now i am already sleepy, ni epekto man dayun ang milk nga ako gi inom. Bye guys!

Grrrr

I have a terrible day today because of this terrible headache i have, will it might be bcoz i sleep late last night and wake up so early this morning. i guess it was around 7 when i woke up, i wanted to stay in bed for more hours but i have to get up early coz hubby and i have to go to the store for grocery shopping, coz we are not able to shop yesterday, bcoz it was raining hard here and we might have rain here again today, i dont know when this rain will gonna stop im kinda sick of it now. we have so much rain here for over a month.

Theres no really fancy happen to us today, we just visit my inlaws after we had the grocery shop and take out some mexican food for our Lunch coz i dont feel like cooking...hmm i might take a nap after doing this entry! if i could. Ok guys got to go now i have to take aspirin for my headache.This all for now! tc you all!

My Favorite show

Every night before I sleep. I usually watch tv to make me fall asleep, So last night I watched this tv show in court TV, its a pshychic detictives. A person who trying to solve crimes by appealing to supernatural and spiritual powers. That continues today with "psychic detectives," people who claim to be able to use psychic powers to discover the location of missing people or the perpetrators of certain crimes. Although psychic detectives make dramatic claims on behalf of themselves and often offer their services to the police, very few police departments ever actual make use of them. Hay what a a boring day

It was a lazy day for me today, i havent done anything except cooking, I really dont know what im going to do so here i am decided to just write a new entry for my bravejournal. and Register this blog in PPP. Tomorrow is my sister biometrics schedule in mississipi, it would takes them 3 and half hours to drive to go to that place. I ask hubby if i could go with them but he said NO, I dont understand him why he wont let me go out, yesterday i was upset bcoz he wont let me go out also to meet rea, his reason is his too lazy to drive.

Hahayz i wish the US of A have a jeepney so that i can go anywhere i want.

Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.

Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, "I love you and I wish you enough".

The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom".

They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?".

Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking,
but why is this a forever good-bye?".

"I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be
for my funeral," she said.

"When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?".

She began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone". She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. "When we said , 'I wish you enough', we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them". Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting. My nephew got so excited

This is the day that my nephew got his first bike here in the US, He was really happy when his mom and dad went to the Toys R Us and got him a new bike, when they got home he was so eager to ride his new bike, the reason why his and my sis got fight to take him a nap. He really wanted to ride his new bike and now he always asking his mama to go outside and ride the bike. Sometimes he likes to walk and sometimes he likes to ride his bike. He really likes going outside because he likes to see the squirrel and the other ainimals like the cat and dog. I am really happy seing my nephew enjoying his new toy, thats why me and my sister always carry him to the park nearby. W el let him enjoy more to his new toy. while me and sis can have a walk also to let the fats in our body burn
